WinStar World Casino & Resort is located an hour north of Dallas, Texas at 777 Casino Drive, in Thackerville, Oklahoma and if you haven't heard of it, you must be living under a rock.
Approaching half a million square feet, WinStar is by far the largest casino in Oklahoma and according to the Chickasaw Nation, which owns and operates the enormous facility, the largest in the world. It boasts a huge 616,960 square foot casino floor with 8 gaming plazas that are named after famous cities such as Paris, Cairo, and Vienna. Visitors from anywhere will find over 7,000 gaming machines, nearly 100 table games, a 46-table non-smoking poker room,800-seat Bingo Hall, Keno Lounge, and an off-track betting parlor. Winstar keeps the lights flashing and the bells ringing 24/7!
Those wishing to stay overnight can choose from 4 hotel areas, with a total of 1399 rooms, and a nearby 200 space RV park. WinStar offers 17 on-site dining venues, including some world-class dining experiences such as the Capisce Ristorante Italiano and Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar and Grill. In addition to the 3,500 seat Global Event Center, nightlife entertainment can be found at Mist Nightclub, the Palladium Sports Lounge, and even Toby Keith's if you prefer country music. Enjoy a good outdoor concert or rodeo? The 7,700 seat arena, or Colosseum, features world-class outdoor entertainment and annual Professional Bull Riding event.
Visitors must be at least 18 years old to enjoy any of the casino games. if you don't meet the age requirement, you can still visit any of the restaurants and the Global Event Center, if you are accompanied by an adult.
